Fariborz Maseeh has gone to school for a long time, and has taught more that 11 different college and graduate level courses during his youth.  Maseeh has been a dedicated visionary in education and has been responsible for the creation of a number of new and unique initiatives nationally through his philanthropic foundation.  He will co-teach a number of the sessions at Estad.  Maseeh has received a doctoral of science degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

ESTAD provides a challenging, engaging approach to learning that can only be carried out by experienced professionals who are also life-long learners.  Our team is composed of the highest ranking academics with a creative, play-based approach to education.

Advisors

Dr. Trisha Callella is a digital learning designer, STEM trainer, Apple Distinguished Educator, national presenter/trainer, Programming and Coding Camp creator, USC doctoral graduate, and the Director of Educational Techonology/STEM Coordinator for the Los Alamitos Unified School District.  She specializes in design thinking, and transformative technology integration.  Dr. Callella is a published author of 47 K-8 books across all disciplines and an entire Algebra textbook series adopted by the state of California.  She is a passionate supporter of pedagogical shifts in education to maximize individual learning capacity.  Dr. Callella has trained at the MIT Media Lab twice and is exploring possibilities in wearable tech design, 3D design and printing and other innovative digital design options for students.

In addition to her passion for education, Dr. Callella is dedicated to helping others through her work with Habitat for Humanity, animal related philanthropic activities, and startups.  In her free time, she loves to read and travel.
