In this age of remixing media, what does the original songwriter own? How do musicians and artists in the music industry protect their creations? What intellectual property can legally be manipulated to become someone else’s creation?


Explore, create, and share music using GarageBand, Soundcloud, and other tools (lyrics not required). Beatboxing and spoken word are welcome.  Explore the recent and relevant lawsuits in the music industry, expand beyond music genres, and explore different styles of music. Create your own music using GarageBand and other tools.
